Certainly, actions have a greater impact than mere words, as examplified by the significant milestone achieved by “SDAUK” and “Osar Foundation”. These organizations have accomplished a remarkable feat within a brief span that no other organization has accomplished in Pakistan. Families who experienced the loss of their homes during the 2022 rain flood have been provided with new residences through the thoughtful construction of the SDA UK Osar Model village. The SDA UK with the help of Osar foundation initiated the construction of the SDAUK Osar Model Village in Deh 315, Mir Allah Bachyo UC Tailko Jhuddo, District Mirpurkhas, Sindh and handed over the village to the residents in short time of six months. This became possible with the generous financial backing of SDA UK and as a result we successfully established a village comprising 32 residences, a community hall, a park, a school, an animal farm, and a masjid. On the 10th of August, 2023, the inauguration of the SDA UK Osar Model Village took place, with in presence of Dr. Khaleeq Siddiqui (SDA Hyd), Mir Shariq, and Rehan Detho, Assistant Commissioner of Jhudo. The certificates and keys for the residences within the SDA UK Osar Model Village were presented to the pre-decided needy families. Mr. Gulzar Patafi, Chairman of the Village Development Organization, received the keys for the entire village, symbolizing its handover. Likewise, Mr. Bilawal Patafi, Chairman of the School Management Committee, received the keys for the school, and Mr. Javed Patafi received the keys for the community hall. Towards the conclusion of the event, President of the event, Dr. Khalique Siddiqui, along with Mr. Rehan Detho and Mr. Mir Shariq Talpur, shared their perspectives and lauded the remarkable efforts of SDA UK and OSAR Foundation. They acknowledged that the positive role of these organizations has brought forth exceptional accomplishments in the region, setting a precedent that is scarcely found across Pakistan. The establishment of this village, they emphasized, will not only transform the residents’ way of life but also contribute to shifting their mindsets.
