Paras Maternity Hospital & New-born Care Centre (PMH) was established in January 2016. The PMH project is one of the Sindh Doctors’ Association United Kingdom’s (Registered charity no 327015) ambitious achievement for improving maternal and child health in district Umarkot, Sindh, Pakistan. The project runs at a no-loss no-gain basis. With the blessing of Allah, it manages to serve the underprivileged rural population of four Districts: Umarkot, Thar, Mirpurkhas and Sanghar with valuable feedback from patients and relatives as reported by external visitors from the UK & USA. PMH is committed to provide clinical support, guidance, and medical expertise at high standards to the expectant mothers and neonates.
